In our charming guesthouse with a veranda, tucked away in a wild, fruit tree-filled garden and covered in wild grapes, we warmly welcome guests seeking relaxation in one of the most beautiful areas of Lake Balaton.

THE HOUSE

Badacsonyörs

Badacsonyörs is located in the famous Badacsony wine region, near the Káli Basin, which is also renowned for its gastronomy. The area is one of the most attractive hiking regions around Lake Balaton. Several excellent beaches are very close by.

Romantic accommodation

The house is located deep in a garden that opens from the already quiet Orgona Street. You can park nearby the house, under the shade of a huge tree. In front of the house is a cozy veranda covered in wild grapes. On the ground floor, there is a living room with a tile stove and heating/cooling air conditioning, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each with heating/cooling. The house is an ideal accommodation for 4 guests.

Peace and quiet

In the garden next to the house, under the shade of cherry and fig trees, you can enjoy nature while lounging in comfortable garden chairs, relaxing in a hammock, or barbecuing in the outdoor grill area.

ABOUT THE AREA

The immediate surroundings of Badacsonyörs offer countless opportunities for exploration, on foot or by bicycle. Among the iconic volcanic hills, Badacsony, Gulács, and the Tóti Hill (with its 360-degree panoramic view) can all be reached via beautiful hiking trails.

Strolling through the winding streets of Örsi Hill can be a delight in itself. The Folly Botanical Garden is just a pleasant 20-minute walk away.

The famous Blue Trail runs almost next to the house, making it easy to reach sights like the ruins of the Pálos Monastery in Salföld, as well as the villages of Salföld and Kékkút – not to mention the lakeshore of Balaton itself.

The renowned Saturday and Sunday market of Káptalantóti, Liliomkert, is just 6 km away – a true local gem not to be missed!

Within 15–35 minutes by car, you can explore the most beautiful towns and villages in the area: Szigliget, Köveskál, Mindszentkálla, Szentbékkálla, Keszthely, Tapolca, Sümeg, Tihany, and Balatonfüred. The hills of Csobánc and Szent György are also well worth a visit.
